Sustainable Development Goal 9 is about promoting sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.

9.4.

Sub-goal 9.4 is about making industries more sustainable by an increased resource-use efficiency and greater adoption of clean and environmentally sound technologies and to decrease the emission of CO2.

At Wolturnus, we work every day to improve our production and organization to continuously become a more sustainable company. We develop and produce in Denmark and thereby ensure shorter freight routes and generally less transport. However, we can become even better and the ambition is to expand the Danish production and replace a number of the company’s cars with electric cars in the coming years.

In addition, we select quality materials and produce durable wheelchairs with a long lifetime that makes the products very suited for recycling. We only work with suppliers who have the same focus on quality and sustainability as ourselves, so that our full product portfolio lives up to our requirements for durability and quality.
