Wolturnus handbikes and sports wheelchairs at the Paralympics

When the Paralympic Games 2016 start on September 7 it will be with many Wolturnus handbikes and sports wheelchairs on the starting line

Two dutch handbikers will compete in the handcycling races in Rio in their Wolturnus handbikes.  Jennette Jansen will compete in the women’s handcycling roadrace and Time Trail in her Wolturnus kneeling handbike.

Jetze Plat won the World Championship in Para-Triathlon this year and will compete in the handcycling road race, Time Trail  and the triathlon using his Wolturnus racebike and Amasis racing wheelchair.

Racing wheelchair athletics Margriet van den BroekAmy Siemons and Kenny van Weeghel from The Netherlands will compete in the Athletic competions in Rio. They will race over distances from 100m-5000m using their customised Amasis racing wheelchairs.

Janet McLachlan is one of the best female wheelchair basketball players in the world. She will represent the Canadian national wheelchair basketball team in Rio in her custom made Wolturnus Center Basketball Wheelchair.

Delphine Bernard is a wheelchair fencing athlete from France (foil fencing). She will be fencing in a customized Wolturnus fencing chair.
